Summary: Don't Bother
Review: I have bought and used all the low carbo cookbooks out there. Believe me when I tell you I rate this one dead last. I literally fed the cheese and sausage balls to my dog. This woman has no business writing a cookbook. There are some excellent books out there so don't waste your money and time on this one.

Summary: Yummy & Easy Recipes
Review: I lost 33lbs in two and a half months with this book! I've tried other low carb books that seem to be for the gourmet chefs of the world. I was always missing one ingredient or another, and I never had time to prepare most of the meals. I would end up ordering pizza or a bucket of chicken with the free rolls. I couldn't stay on the diet to save my life, until I bought this wonderful book. It's full of quick and simple recipes that are great. I live on the Crispy Butter Wings and the Pizza Burgers. I haven't done fast food for nine weeks and I have never felt better about myself. This is a must for the busy people.

Summary: Simple and Easy Recipes
Review: I loved this cookbook! The recipes are nothing fancy, just things that you would make for regular at-home meals. I don't have time after work to come home and try to put together gourmet meals, so this was a wonderfule addition to my kitchen. The recipes are easy, quick, and most taste great. A great book for the money!

Summary: For the VERY basic cook
Review: I was not terribly impressed with this cookbook. A more fitting title would have been: "Low Carb Recipes for Cooks With No Imagination." A great many of the supposed "over 160 Delicious" recipes are either variations of each other (bacon and onion omelet, cream cheese and tomato omelet, scrambled eggs with cream cheese) or such lame recipes like Ham Pinwheels (spread a slice of ham w/whipped cream cheese, roll, chill, and slice - no flavorings in the cream cheese) and take up an entire page. Also, the book includes recipes for "no-brainer dishes" like, Deviled Eggs, Creamed Spinach, and Meatloaf that are made so easily with low carbs anyway. The cookbook also relies on canned or dried soup, and process cheese a great deal (one of the great things about low-carb eating is the REAL CHEESE - why use so much of the process stuff?) The use of sweet'n low instead of equal in its dessert recipes leaves more of that bitter aftertaste as well. It does have a nutritional breakdown at the end of every recipe, but there is a real lack of adventure or variety to this cuisine. I would recommend that the low-carb dieter obtain one of the fine carbohydrate counter books(Corinne T. Netzer's is a good one), and calculate the carb value of ones' foods (or favorite recipe's components.) "The Low-Carb Cookbook" by Fran McCullough is better tome on the subject. It has more creative dishes that inspire the dieter/low carb eater, and the 384 page, hardback is a wonderful cookbook for those that would like some more instruction/recommendation/sources on the "low carb life" with their recipes.

Summary: Great Ideas, Easy Recipes
Review: I'm no gourmet cook, so this cookbook was right up my alley! The chocolate pie was to die for! It has lots of great and easy to prepare recipes. I recommend it to the beginners and anyone who is having trouble sticking with the Low Carb dieting.

Summary: Yummy & Easy Recipes
Review: This is my kind of cookbook! The recipes are simple and quick and best of all delicious. I really like the lasagna and the creamy chocolate pie! I thought I had died and gone to heaven! It is the third cookbook I've bought since being on the Dr Atkins diet and by far the most used. With recipes like these I think I'll be able to stay on my diet forever! Thanks!

Summary: A Must Have!
Review: This wonderful cookbook is full of recipes that are quick and simple to prepare. I have bought other low-carb cookbooks and the recipes sound more like what you would cook for a dinner party, not your family after a day at work and school. All of the recipes I have tried have been delicious with portions you can actually get full on. After being on the Atkins diet for several months, I felt as though I was eating the same things over and over. Now I have more choices than I ever thought possible. This book opened my eyes to many more things I could eat (such as vegetables) than I was aware of. I now feel as though I can easily stay on a low carbohydrate diet!
