Summary: An upbeat anthology of savory recipes
Review: A Season Of Celebrating is a cookbook drawn from members and supporters of Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry's "Christmas Around the World" and "Holidays of Light" festivals. The celebratory dishes comprising this wonderful collection are drawn from around the world and blend holiday traditions and delights with a broad-based enthusiasm and trivia tidbits concerning various cultures which admirably combine to add a special enjoyment to this upbeat anthology of savory recipes. Dishes such as Nouvelle Hanukkah Latkes; Mushroom Crepes; Oven Kalua Pig; Native American Indian Fry Bread; and so much more, make for a wide variety of delicious options for joyous dining at any time of year.

Summary: Good food, lots of culture!
Review: I picked this book up, looking for some interesting cultural recipes and traditions. Boy, did I find both in this book. The recipes are authentic and varied and from all over!

The interesting thing about this cookbook are the little founts of information available. How certain cultures celebrate, how Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza are celebrated in different places.....

My family and I have really enjoyed this book. I'm picking up some copies to give as Christmas presents this year.
