Review: For anyone who reads the newspaper comic strips, we know there is at least one of them that almost all women can relate to and many men do too - Cathy.
Girl Food - Cathy's Cookbook for the well-balanced woman contains some fun recipes with super long "Cathyism" titles: "No, I did NOT but this at a deli and throw out the containter Potato Green Bean Salad"; or "Why did I buy and itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny bikini Linguine". Scattered throughout the book are Cathy Guisewite's humorous cartoon scetches of Cathy.
Many of the recipes are very simple to make, with ingredients that are readily available at the local market. There are no suggestions on variations, but these recipes are fun when giving out the names.
