Summary: Waste of money
Review: The book is definitely no use to people living in North America. It asks for exotic (not to mention probably unappetizing) ingredients such as turtles and snakes just to name a few. Also, it does not explain in English the benefits of the dishes. It only do so in simplified Chinese. The pictures of each dish is presented in a very fancy manner, not practical for home cook. If you are looking for a good Chinese herb cooking book, I will recommend "Chinese Herb Cooking For Health" instead.
