Summary: A must have for anyone who love desserts
Review: I should disclose that I have a bias in that the author is my very own mother and grandmother. But then, I truly know the value of this cookbook because I grew up eating almost all of the desserts in this cookbook.

My mother has always told me that "Anyone can be a good cook. Learn how to pick out a good recipe and then follow it." My mother has done the work for you. These are great recipes and not ones that you will only use here and there but ones that can and will become the staple of your repertoire for years to come. I have waited a long time for the publication of this cookbook, because it collects in one place all the recipes that I know and love together with some of their history. I didn't even know that my favorite, absolutely no fail pecan pie recipe (I won't eat anyone elses) is 70 years old and came from wonderful great Aunt Modina.

I think you will enjoy the recipes in this cookbook as our family has. . . .for generations.
