Review: This is a beautifully organized and arranged cookbook. Each Chapter of the book starts with a fine line drawing enticing one to consider the possibilities of this (food) course. The recipes are collected into suggested menus centered on this food course with a story describing the encouters where Madhur Jaffrey has experienced it or the ideas the spawned the bringing together various different and interesting food combinations. The associated recipes follow. There are often a few lines preceding each recipe each suggesting additional serving suggestions. Each recipe is laid out on one or two pages(facing each other, so there is no page turn for a recipe). Ingredients are listed in both American and Metric standards with clear, consice directions. A book for the adventurous and culinary diverse.
