Rating: Summary: Everyday Gourmet Made Simple and Fun Review: Ursula Knaeusel is an Atlanta legend who gained national fame several years ago with her PBS series "Cooking with Ursula." This cookbook contains all the recipes and menues from the series. Ursula's recipes and menu ideas are not only tasty, but are quickly made from easy to obtain, and often surprising, ingredients. Who else would suggest making a wonderful soup from 4 different cans of commercial soup with the addition of sour cream and a few herbs. When guests rave, Ursula suggests hiding the cans in a dark trash bag and commenting that it's an old family recipe that I simply just can't share with you. Ursula's wit and love of cooking combine to provide not only an interesting read, but also THE most used cookbook in my collection. Don't hesitate ordering it. It's a keeper!
