Review: This book is not as good as the 1992 version, but it still one of the best cookbooks out there. As is the case with the other books in the Best of Gourmet series, the pictures are incredible, the recipies delicious and easy to follow, the menus sensational for entertaining, and there's plenty of recipies in here for everyone from the novice cook to the gourmand chef. The photos are so great, in fact, that I enjoy just flipping through looking at the photos when I don't feel like cooking! It's absolutely beautiful. I firmly believe every book in the Best of Gourmet series is a worthwhile investment for every serious chef.
