Review: Our dinner group had Croatian night and 3 of the 4 couples took their recipes from "Croatian Cuisine". The meal was excellent. The desserts were particularly good. The recipes were easy to follow and the photos of the finished dishes helped a lot.

Review: What a pleasant surprise it was to find this rare book about the rich cuisine of Croatia. The cookbook is comprehensive and covers all regions of Croatian and Bosnia/Herzegovina. Especially impressive is the pastry section. Many of the recipes are accompanied by beautiful color photographs. The food is hearty and delicious and the recipes are easy to follow. The book also includes a short history of Croatia and Croatian cooking. I think it would make a great gift for anyone of Croatian descent or anyone interested in Croatia and her cooking.
