Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A must-have for anyone's kitchen!!!
Review: This cookbook is perfect for everybody, from the expert chef to the inexperienced novice who can't tell a starfruit from a spaghetti squash. Ms. Strauss explores the world of exotic and exciting fruits and vegetables with over 200 easy-to-follow recipes like Macadamia Nut and Mango Chicken, Shredded Sunchoke Salad (sunchokes are part of the artichoke family), Minted Feijoa and Melon (feijoa AKA pineapple guava), and Chilies Rellenos, as well as dessert fare, like Passion Fruit Sauce, Persimmon Pecan Cream Roll, and Rhubarb Ribbon Cheesecake. There are soups, salads, entrees, beverages, and desserts! This book also describes the origins of the unusual produce and explains how to select and store it at home. Ms. Strauss has created the ideal "user-friendly" cookbook, along with a variety of many mouth-watering meals. This is, by far, the most incredible cookbook I own!
