Summary: A "must" for anyone with a history of cancer in their family
Review: MyLinda Butterworth's For Health's Sake is a thoughtful, easy-going, informative primer with recipes suited for every tastebud and lifestyle and having one thing in common throughout -- these are dishes and beverages that will help to prevent 70 to 75 percent of most major cancers. From 7 Layer Bean Dip, Apple-Cinnamon Granola, Very Berry Cooler, and Squash Pancakes, to Hoopla Chicken Lasagna, Wheat Chili, Caramel Sour Cream Cookies, and German Chocolate Pie, For Health's Sake offers delicious repasts for part of the meal from appetizers and beverages to soups and sales, breads, main dishes, sauces and dressings, and desserts. The chapters on cancer and the role of diet in prevention and treatment support are invaluable. For Health's Sake is an essential, effective addition to the kitchen cookbook collection for anyone with personal risk factors or a history of cancer in their family.

Summary: I was not especially impressed with this book.
Review: While Ms. Butterworth's survival of Stage IV ovarian cancer is admirable, the many grammatical errors, typos, and misspellings in this book were distracting. Especially sad is the consistent incorrect spelling of Dr. Dunkelberger's last name.
