Summary: Finally a real book for cooking real African country food!
Review: I love this book!
The recipes are simple and well written, like many other books. There are a few photographs as well. They cover the whole menu.

But the reason I love it are the detailed description of the kind of things I don't know, such as how to wrap a fresh banana leaf for steaming, how to cook potatos in sand and how to cut prices. I can't get the type of banana here in Norway, but it is interesting to read, and I will try with the plantains we get here.
For gluten-free people it is good, as there are many porridge, cake and dumpling recipes made with only maize, millet or other.
