Review: Despite what the California reader said, I think this book is marvelous. It is VERY creative and thoughtful in its settings. It is packed with useful information. And, the photography is truly wonderful! I cannot imagine what that other reader was thinking.

Summary: Very disappointing. Save your money.
Review: I found the suggestions to be very ordinary, unoriginal and repetitive. You've seen these dozens of times. Some were downright silly - tying aprons to the backs of chairs. The photography left a lot to be desired too with unimaginative arrangements and amature photography. If I had had the opportunity to leaf through it first, I would not have bought this book.

Review: I found this book to be filled with wonderful ideas for table settings not just for yourself but also for entertaining. The themed settings are very creative. Very good information on proper table setting and linens. The photography is sumptuous!
