Rating: Summary: Orwell in the house Review: If you ever read books by Orwell and liked it/them, you're sure gonna like this. I would never call it a "book made into comic" but lets just say that it's a bit of a cross between Orwells '1984' and 'Animal Farm'. If you have never read any of those books it's no problem either because than you're still in for a great story, a modern staire on humanity. The main story is basically '1984' with a new jacket, where the characters are portrayed as animals (like in 'Animal Farm'). Same as with "Maus" the characters used here are symbolic. Where in Maus the Germans are portrayed as cats and the Jews as mice, here the oppressors (governments) are humans and the slaves are human/pig-crossings (which is also a great satire on humankind). When one day one of the slaves decides to stop doing exactly as he is told all Hell breaks loose when he discovers more and more how he's been lied to all his life and what the REAL world looks like. In addition to the story there is some great art in here. The whole thing is fully painted by John Mueller, also the writer, whose art reminds me a lot of Simon Bisley. And that's a good thing.

Rating: Summary: A powerhouse of a comic! Review: Wow! This was a pleasant surprise. Short, but sweet story of a man/pig hybrid raised in a factory as slave labor, but who breaks free and burns down all that helped make the futuristic city of "heaven" a rotten lie of a place. Very intense. Very cool artwork! Only complaint is that it used that whole "Because I can" explanation from the villain as a reason for his horrible actions. Again folks, this was all fine and good as a creepy apathetic answer like 10 years ago or so but its being way-over used to the point of just coming across as cheap and stupid. Other than that though, this was a very solid comic and I highly reccomend it.
