Summary: Great Book
Review: I am an audio engineer and I learned a lot from this book. One of the best things about it is that it contains information that is useful to everyone whether experienced or just starting out. The technical tips are good, but so are the stories of how the people interviewed became successful, and also their ideas and philosophies about recording and mixing music. I recommend this book.

Summary: Good Book
Review: I'm a musician and own my own home recording studio. I bought this book because I read a review of it that said it was a fun read and that I would learn a lot. It was, and I did. It has a conversational style that makes it easy to read, and it also has a lot of information from experts. I am glad I bought it, and I recommend it.

Summary: Mix Masters? more like Recording Masters
Review: This book was not helpful at all. It claimed to include all of these tips from the masters on how to MIX, but at least 80% of the book focused on each famous producers start as an engineer and their favorite gear. Very little detail was given about general mixing techniques and if it was, it was very vague. I would recommend the MIxing engineer's handbook instead.
