Summary: My flyer is in this book!
Review: Lots of cool American designs (usually books of this type are European). It's nice to see flyers that I have actually seen in my own home town. Oh yeah, and my artwork is in this book too. I did the Crystal Dreams flyer on page 117.

Summary: a sweet girl from brooklyn
Review: so much more than the layout, so much more than the design, searching for the perfect beat captures the feeling and the atmosphere of the party times and eloquently placed it into a binding.

Summary: Beautiful and Positive !
Review: The book is a really well designed document of the rave scene spanning from coast to coast. The flyers were well picked and well described.I have seen other books of rave flyers before and I think this book is better than all the rest by far. It's nice that someone finally did something for specifically the North American rave scene and not just Europe. Buy this book, you will love it! Peace, Love, Unity, Respect, Responsibility <3

Summary: Techno Found At Last (or how flyers helped the cause)!
Review: The book reminds you of the posters of the 60's. Remarkable change from the early 90's to the last print dated in 1998. The flyers are even better since then. Hope to see volume 2 soon. Keep your rave and techno posters tucked away in a safe place because they'll be worth alot someday! Buy this book (it's priced right)- a great reference piece.

Summary: COOL, its like a shoppers guide for finding good designers
Review: The book was a really good view on the progression of flyer designs during the 1990s. It presented us with the big names in design, and a bunch of the smaller ones... Thanks for putting the contact info at the bottom

Review: This book captures the historical spirit and essence of rave/ electronic music culture from the past to present! A bible for the future and wisdom for the underground

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Simply Outsatnding
Review: This book is a testament to the complexity and beauty of the underground rave scene. Although the culture has become commercialized and watered down over the past few years, true beat-heads will appreciate the nostalgia and nods to those in the know. Definitely a must-have for those true to the underground.

Summary: Searching for the Perfect Beat Rocks
Review: This is one of the best representations of the American rave scene I have ever seen. Its historical milieu is unparalleled through the use of the art design of flyers from the beginning to present. It shows that what was once all about the music, is now more for the money. These guys are really keeping it real. This is something that is and invaluable source for the history of the scene we like to call rave.
