Summary: Best Musical Ever-- but difficult to sing and play
Review: I am a huge Les Miserables fan I bought the vocals hoping I can take it on auditions the music is really hard to sing and the instrumentals are nearly impossible to perform.
I love the music but, the vocals in this are for mature voices and it takes a lot of praticing to be able to sing these songs well.
Still buy the vocals it's worth the effort--

Summary: excellent book for all vocal ranges, men and women
Review: I highly recommend this book for singers. The songs are very "singable" and there is something for all vocal ranges, men and women. This book is a essential for your music collection!

Summary: DA BOMB
Review: I play the piano. I'm only on my third year, but this book is really good. It is the kind my piano teacher plays. It has all my favorite songs for playing and singing in a clear manner. All in all, this is an awesome book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Enjoyable - makes me want to see the play again
Review: I purchased this edition recently at a local music store and have enjoyed it very much. The level of difficulty is great enough to sound very much like the original yet simple enough to be performed by a moderately advanced pianist. Castle on a Cloud, Bring Him Home, and On My Own are especially nice.

Summary: Les Miserables Easy Play
Review: I really liked the book and how it treated many of the songs, yet I was really looking forward to singing the song accompanying Javert's suicide. This is not in the book and that was very disappointing to me.

Summary: Good but not complete
Review: I really liked the book and how it treated many of the songs, yet I was really looking forward to singing the song accompanying Javert's suicide. This is not in the book and that was very disappointing to me.

Summary: I wish you would list the contents...
Review: I saw that someone else has the same gripe as I do, I wish that the contents of the book were listed here. I loved the book, the songs were wonderful and easy to follow, but if I hadn't been able to find a copy before I bought it I would not have known which songs were in it, and I might not have bought it. Just a suggestion.

Summary: love it love it
Review: The music of Les Miserables is incredibly captivating, and being able to play it makes it even better. The music in this book isn't for beginners, and with alot of effort an intermediate pianist could play the music. Every part is covered for the vocals in songs like "A Heart Full of Love" and "In My Life." I was a little dissappointed with "Red and Black" not included, but I still enjoy playing from this book every day.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good, But not enough music
Review: The only problem with this book is that it does not have ALL of the songs. But I guess that that can't be helped. Overall great job, good pieces for the intermediate-advanced pianist.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best musicals ever written.
Review: This book is a fabulous collection of sheet music, that I would highly recommend to any singers who are looking to expand their knowledge of musical theatre. The show is about three hours, so it is ridiculous of people to expect this book to contain every song in the show. All the major numbers are included, and most people will be more than satisfied with this book.
