Summary: KISS re-writes and changes thier own KISSTORY...
Review: Funny, most KISS fans don't care but this book has a major problem... a certain photographers name has been casually forgotten... Mr. Edward B. Przydzial III from Detroit. His images do appear in the book, quite a few actually but where is his name or photo credit? Also, he is not even mentioned in the book (at least Metal Edge magazine has mentioned the guy) for his fan club, the first in the United States and Detroit, "The KISS Museum News". Edward's fan club was America's FIRST fan club even before Bill Starkeys KISS Army, which was actually orchestrated by Allen Miller at Rock Steady Productions. Funny I thought the book itself was a great "kollektable" but after I looked really hard I see KISS manipulates the facts to suit the bands current agenda and re-writing your history for your own fans makes no sense to me like we are too dumb to remember it the first time around. A great injustice to Rock Photographer Edward Przydzial. Gene $immons and Paul Stanley you both should be ashamed of yourselfs. Naughty naughty...

Summary: A MUST FOR ANY DIE HARD KISS FAN
Review: Got 2 copies, as the first copy was it incomplete. loved the photos, hadn't seen many of them before!! read it from cover to cover the day i got, just couldn't put it down. thought it was a bit expensive, but definitely worth the money!!

Summary: a must have for all kiss fans!
Review: hello!,my name is mark, and i am 30yrs.old and kiss is a very big part of my life and if you fell the same as i do about the band, you will need this book to brush up on your history(kisstory)filled with never seen photos of the band in the 70s and covers the small things that make you feel that much closer to the band,i was too young to see them in concert(the 70s)but more than made up for it on 10/09/96 in philly!,if you only buy one kiss book in your life,this has to be the one!

Review: I bought a copy of this book for my best friend for his 30th birthday. We have been KISS fans for years. It is an awesome book. HE returned the favour for my 30th birthday. It arrived three months late AND IT WASN'T EVEN SIGNED BY THE BAND. The first copy was but I am very disappointed with this poor quality control.

Summary: WOW-- No regrets
Review: I bought this incredible bible at a KISS concert in '97, and other than developing back problems from lugging it around all night (!!), it was worth EVERY HARD EARNED CENT. Any doubts I had before I bought it (yes, it is a lot of $) do not exist anymore. Out of all of the KISS stuff I own, this ranks about as high as anything can get.

Summary: The Hottest Band In The Universe
Review: I first heard kiss in 1976 and became a instant fan. This band has a back beat that you just can't get out of your head. For 22 years i've been the biggest ( sensible ) KISS fan in SO CA. While everyone I knew was trashing kiss I was KISS. I would always dress in my KISS belt buckle and one of my fav. KISS T- shirts. At the age of 13 I was hot on kiss. at 35 I still am. KISS is a band who has withstood the test of time. I knew that they would be back together. No one could have stopped it...... Not even Gene...This book is the rock and roll bible and is a must for all overdue expectant mothers who want to give birth soon..... Its a shocker from the rockers.......KISSTORY

Review: I love this book, it's so heavy and so full of KISS ! Everything you ever wanted to know can be found in it. I got a real kick out of seeing the real signatures of Ace, Paul, Gene & Peter : I've got them a bit more in my home now ! I was lucky to buy it at the concert in Holland (03-13-1999), but otherwise I would have bought it through the Internet ! The only reason why I don't rate the book 5 stars, is the price. OK, it's worth the money, but there should be a cheaper version of the book for the less fortunate KISS fans !!!

Review: I thought it was a great hardcover. I read it from front to back. It gives all the info. we want to know about the band from its early beginnings to the present. Lots of pages, very heavy, and informative. I thought it was worth the $. Matthew Frank
