Summary: Absolutely hysterical!
Review: After reading Private parts, I fully expected this book to be similiar as I'd never read it but instead, it's a very humorous account of Howards many funny life events with a full account of his staff and their many duties. We hear about such fasinating things as Fartman's antics to his political era which I'm sure will go down in history. I beginning to ask myself, "Is there anything this man CAN'T do?" Funny and entertaining. I fully recommend this book.

Summary: More introspective than "Private Parts" but STILL FUNNY!
Review: I thought "Private Parts" was funnier, but this book is different--it is more introspective but still has many hilarious moments. The hysterical chapter on Stern's meeting with Michael Jackson is definitely worth the price of this book alone. He trashes Jackson thoroughly, asking the question no one dares to ask: "If you love children so much, where are the girls?" I kept reading this chapter over and over again. What I like about Howard Stern is that he is not afraid to tell the truth. He is not awed by celebrities and doesn't hesitate to shred them apart when they deserve it. He is great at exposing celebrity hypocrisy and hype. Another incredibly funny account is Stern's experience with cybersex and meeting his cybermates in person. The language is foul, vulgar and crude in this book, but if you can get beyond that, you'll realize what an incredibly brilliant and funny man Stern is. Even the way he uses typefaces in this book effectively conveys his feelings to the reader and makes what he says twice as funny. If you're offended by graphic language, I wouldn't recommend this book. But if you have a biting, satirical, twisted sense of humor, you'll enjoy this book immensely.

Summary: Howard gets political on 2nd Novel
Review: Perhaps even better than the first. It's more concentrated on a certain era of his career but does tell lots of his life story. We have all the basics from "Private Parts", but Howard gets even more in depth about certain issues like the entertainment business and girls that he lusts over (at time babes like Teri Hacther and all time beauties like Tawny Kitean and Pam Anderson) . That's nothing, because we get even more tidbits like.

The unmaking of sad Zoo personality John Debella. Howard tortures this man to no end til his ratings are squashed. A lot of interesting turns in the story occur. It's a great saga.

Howard's impressive run for the office of governor in New York, not to mention the fact that he gets to control the destiny of political hopefuls like Christine Todd Whitman. Etc.

Howard rips into his radio crew, mostly King of Mars Fred/Eric Norris. What was the deal with the wedding no one was invited to, Cookie Puss cakes for Mother's day and even more horror. Howard looks into it. Also the questions everyone wants to know about Robin are answered on a lie detector.

The private painful battle with OCD. Howard gets a chuckle out of you while telling his of sad and true story that is meant to help others and certainty does.

Lots of fun little bits in here. You real have to be devout Stern to dig this one and if you are, it might just blow "Parts" out of the map. Have fun reading all the details of the Stern empire. F Jackie and Baba Booey to y'all. Also, if you ever hear about the phony infommercial that Stern did for the book airing on E!, tape it! It's a classic Stern parody.

Summary: Derwood, This Isn't A Novel...
Review: To the guy who keeps calling this book a novel: This is non-fiction. "Gone With the Wind" is a novel...As for the book itself, it's aimed at Stern's (mostly) semi-illiterate audience, and on that level it succeeds brilliantly. It's more like "Mad Magazine For Dummies". I have nothing against Stern and like his show. He's incredibly slick at coming up with the kind of lowest-common-denominator material that his crowd craves.

Summary: A Good Follow Up to Private Parts
Review: The self-proclaimed "King of All Media," Howard Stern again shares very personal information with the reader, ranging from his opinions to his hairstyles over the years. His humor is often raunchy and juvenile--not for the squeamish. A must read for fans of his radio talk show.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Howard wrote a good book
Review: This book is fun and entertaining just like his radio show. He tries to be funny in the book and he sure succeeds at doing that. If you enjoy Howard's radio show, I suggest you take a look at this book.

Summary: H_S_M_A
Review: the funny stuff will make a good movie but there are some boring sick anecdotes... pure stern for the fan!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very funny
Review: I thought the book was hilarious, but if you're very conservative, or very religious, you will probably give this zero stars. I thought his relations in chatrooms on the Internet was a bit much, but then again it's Howard. Love him or hate him, people will have something to say about the man.

Summary: Amazing!
Review: If you want to read an entertaining book that keeps you informed and laughing the whole way through, read this. If the HOWARD STERN SHOW does not broadcast in your area and you want to enjoy a few good stories and get to know the man behind the sunglasses, this book is well written and is a great dose of the KING! ENJOY! If you have not seen the movie - it's even better!
