Rating: Summary: Even Conservatives Should be Ashamed of this Guy Review: I read some of the exclamatory sentences from young conservatives that if the "lefties" really hated this book then of course they would run out and buy it. Fine, read it. It will speak for itself. My parents were conservatives (I personally am not) and they would have been appalled at what Mr. Hannity has to say. If you love demonizing people and generalizing about "all lefties" and everybody else you think is making your life miserable, by all means read this cruel, unintelligent, knee-jerk book. The man is totally without scruples, without thoughtfulness, without anything but a desire to vent. He loves blaming everyone else but offers no solutions of his own. He's making millions on you and you're going for it. Fine. If you want to be entrenched in Iraq, lose your job, work for nothing, pollute the environment and hand your kids the biggest deficit this country has ever known, and have no respect for your own intelligence, go with Sean! He'll tell you what to do and how to think. But if you actually want to look around and see what's going on, try another book.
Rating: Summary: Those who love this country should be indebted to Sean. Review: A testament and exhortation of all that's great about our most blessed country, -and how it's all in the process of being undermined by liberals- Hannity is at his best. A fan of his television and radio show for quite some time, this work is a clencher. Hannity spells out today's current situation, but most importantly, Hannity offers practical formulas and hope for restoring G-d and America's traditional values and morals to the public sphere.
Rating: Summary: What a waste of life this intolorent fool is. Review: What a waste of life this intolorent fool is.
Rating: Summary: The truth hurts!! Review: I have yet to read this book, but judging by the hordes of angry reviews by the lefty extremists, it must be good. I shall order this book immediately!! Way to go Sean!!
Rating: Summary: Look who's writing the reviews Review: Keep in mind folks that most of the previous reviews were written by liberals, hence receiving 1-2 stars. This book does preach to the quire for the middle ground and right-wing Americans out there, but nonetheless it is still a good read. The "bully" comment made in an early review is pretty funny but false. Couldn't be further from the truth. Sean Hannity comes across as a compassionate, caring, smart Christian conservative. Without voices like Hannity representing a majority of the country, we would truely would be lost. A great read!
Rating: Summary: Don't waste your money. Review: I read this book because I wanted to know if Hannity wrote better than he conducted a talk show, and I'm sad to say that he doesn't. Rarely does he make a point simply supporting his point of view. Rather he takes the opportunity to bash liberals. I now know who he hates, but it's not very clear what he really thinks about his own side. Fair and balanced... far from it.
Rating: Summary: Wake up America Review: Sean Hannity writes a wake up call to all Americans. The Age of Reason has been replaced by liberal treason.
Rating: Summary: Awful Review: What a waste of money. Most upsetting is that this man claims to be a Christian. Horrible hate monger.
Rating: Summary: Loves America, Seems to Hate Americans Review: It's my opinion that this guy is "fairly unbalanced". Hannity needs an American flag on his book cover to prove he's an American. But I don't believe he has the values right. His pages seem to yell that he Loves America, but that he hates Americans. Righties like Hannity seem to think of things in black and white, and that you can fit every problem into neat litte boxes. Hey Hannity, the world carries on its business in the grey areas! Hannity has been listening to the freedom bell so closely, he's become deaf.I'm sure this guy, like bush, would be great to have a beer with. But people, please, let's not put either of these guys in control of any aspect of life that can effect others.
Rating: Summary: Deserves No Stars Review: The hate-mongering in this book made me want to wash my hands 3 times after I pitched it. Just dreadful. Hannity is just another angry, braying conservative, yelling as loudly as he can, hoping it'll drown out all other opinions. His arguments aren't cogent, his "facts" are suspect, and his writing is banal. (Crikey! how many times can you wave that flag, bucko?) And, of course, the demonic Bill Clinton is to blame for everything . . . EVERYTHING! People like Hannity make me weary, lord, weary . . .
