Rating: Summary: A Great Veiw of and American Great Review: This book has show every episode that was every made. And each episode was good. Some showed grief, playfulness, gerocity, and then some. Suzy Kalter has taken all those episodes and summed them up in to a few paragraphs. The photos that were chosen for the book were of great quality. And i love it
Rating: Summary: Very informative but.... Review: This book has some great info. It is a must for MASH fans but beware. The episode synopses are absolutely terrible. Characters are misquoted and important points are missed. It's as if she didn't bother watching some of the episodes. But the interviews with the writers and actors are very nice.
Rating: Summary: A must buy book for M*A*S*H fans Review: This book is a must have for true M*A*S*H fans. The pictures are great and the the interviews are interesting and informative. The episode summeries are very helpful when trying to match up episodes with their titles. Only thing lacking is that the subplots of the episodes are not talked about. Still a great buy though
Rating: Summary: A must have for all you fans who can't remember that name Review: This book is excellent!! A must have for any and all M*A*S*H fans!! It has tons of pictures, and lots of information. The only problems are 1) It could be a little more complete and 2) there are numerous errors. What I mean about errors are not gramitical, but in the show's plot. She does say that she got the information from the scripts, so there's bound to be some changes from the writing to the airing. But other then that, this book is great!
Rating: Summary: THE COMPLETE M*A*S*H Review: This book is unbelievable. It is jammed with pictures both color and black & white. It has synopsis of every episode including a section that lists every single Emmey nomination and the winners for the entire eleven year run. This truley is the M*A*S*H bilbe. For a more in depth look on M*A*S*H chech out "We Will Not Be Strangers. Korean War Letters Between a M*A*S*H Surgeon and His Wife." This book is about the real life MASH. Author Suzy Kalter has written a fantastic compainion to TV's most celeb
Rating: Summary: A good book, but hardly "complete" Review: This is a fairly decent book on M*A*S*H, quite good actually, although far from what I would call "excellent". It provides the fan with a lot of information on the characters, the actors, producers, directors, etc. The episode synopses are interesting and useful to a M*AS*S*H-a-holic. The writer and director lists in the back were also interesting and a good source of information. The commentaries by those involved in the show is an excellent feature. There is one thing, however, that irritated me about this book. The moniker "'Complete' Book of M*A*S*H" is a misnomer. It, as is noted in the introduction, does not include any information concerning the 2 or 3 subplots within each episode. I also found the chapter discussing the final episode/movie a bit "lacking". This was essentially five episodes in one, and yet the book left out quite of bit of information, and lost a lot of the essence of this "episode". This section could have been much more complete. By leaving this information out, it "cheated" us of some vital memories, tears, and laughter. Some of the most funny, sad and cleaver moments appeared in these "subplots" A lot a character development took place in the subplots. In this respect, I found the book very disappointing. Similar books dealing with other shows were more complete, and did not leave out anything; all subplots, etc. were included, and yet this did not make the book confusing nor cumbersome, but rather enhanced the delightlfulness of the book. It's a pity the author did not see fit to do so with this book. If she had, this book would be a true gem, and quite possibly the best of the bread. Still, if you're a M*A*S*H fan, this book is a must have.
Rating: Summary: A Must for M*A*S*H Lovers!!! Review: This is a wonderful book for the oldest and newest M*A*S*H fans. Can't remember the name of your favorite M*A*S*H episode, or can't remember exactly how the plot went? If so, this is the book for you! It tells about all 251 episodes of M*A*S*H. It leaves out some of the minor plots, but even so, the book is worth it.
Rating: Summary: A true M*A*S*H fan's dream come true. Review: This is an incredible book, featuring full color photos of the television show M*A*S*H. It includes a complete episode guide, behind the scenes stories and photos, interviews with the stars of the show, and much more. This is a must have for serious M*A*S*H fans.
Rating: Summary: The Complete Book of Mash Review: This is the best and most comprehensive book written about Mash. I love it. I've had my book for about 6 years and I find myself reading it over and over. A summary and titles of all the episodes are included as well as personal interviews with the cast. The colored fotos are vivid works of art.
Rating: Summary: A great book for M*A*S*H lovers! Review: This is the only book I have been able to find on one of the best shows ever. Has a everything from to why the book was written to the last show. Tells you a bit about all the shows! A must for a true M*A*S*H fan.
