Summary: Charlie's Angels Casebook- Awesome reading!
Review: Charlie's Angels Casebook is definitely a treat to read over and over! Jack Condon w/David Hofstede created a wonderful book about a TV show that will live on forever in the eyes of it's fans! It's a great reference book about how a show gets created in tv land. Plus, the insights of how Charlie's Angels began and all during the five years of the series about the lives of everyone involved with the show, especially 'the Angels'. Different pictures before, during and after the show of all six 'Angels' and various photos about the show add dimension to the indepth details about one of America's favorite shows. Also,
Jack Condon's collection of his Charlie's Angels memorabilia is incredible to see. Thank you, Jack Condon for being the person that you are with the ability to give Charlie's Angels the credit it so richly deserves as being one of the best television shows in TV history!

Summary: A "Have to Have"
Review: Thank God writers are putting all this information down on paper. This is my favorite thing to read--and I've read it twice already! Nothing else gives me such a taste of the best part of childhood--Charlie's Angels on TV gave me something to live for each week. Generation X'ers will know what I mean.

Summary: Angels Rule
Review: I thought that the book really captured the "Angels" and that it gave the readers an inside look on what it was like for each of them and how they felt about each individual episode. Even today I watch the show every day and am well on my way to have seen every one. I am in season 5 now and it has been a blast looking back to see the 4 women I grew up watching on tv all my life. (Jaclyn, Kate, Cheryl and Farrah)They have all been great actors throughout their lives and they have done some great roles but I think they will be remebered by their roles as Kelly Garrett, Sarina Duncan, and Kris and Jill Monroe. They have really shown us that you can send a woman to do a man's job!

Summary: The Best, Most Entertaining Book Ever About The Angels!!
Review: Jack Condon's well-informed casebook is definitely the best book ever written about "Charlie's Angels." Full of fun, excitement, and lovely photos to commend. The foreword written by the "most angelic of them all" Jaclyn Smith is truly outstanding. Here's an actress who's key to success in hollywood came from the show that was critised and maligned by the critics then and yet still proud to tell the world that she's an angel--and she really is!

This is a must to all the fans and for the new generation of fans, this is the book for you to see what you have missed. A truly, collectible item!

Summary: Necessary, But Lacking....
Review: This book, being the only one available about "Charlie's Angels", is a must-have for the fans, but I really was not too impressed with the writing. The blame cannot all be placed on the authors, however, since Farrah Fawcett refuses to acknowledge her "CA" days, and recent comments from Kate Jackson were absent. Input from them would have greatly improved the text. My problem was that there just wasn't enough substance to this book.... not enough gossip [especially], clipped biographies of the actresses, and a general lack of depth. I put it down wanting MORE. Many points made in the book had few supporting statements and did not delve into much detail. Reading this book reminded me of reading a high-school paper on the show. The episode commentary, while enjoyable, struck me as filler. I cant help but compared "The C.A. Casebook" to a brilliantly authored book about "Three's Company" called "Come and Knock on Our Door" by Chris Mann. The authors of this book should have taken a cue from him. Also, could the cover photo be any less flattering of Kate, Jaclyn, and Farrah?

Summary: Highly Recommended
Review: This intelligently written book commemorates and documents the original television series. It is a great reference guide, containing everything one could wish to know about the series, including a comprehensive episode guide. For those who followed the weekly adventures in the '70's, it will also provide the key to many wonderful memories. Congratulations are due to the authors for this fine book. Buy it and enjoy.

Summary: Worth Every Penny
Review: I'm almost thirteen, so I wasn't even alive when the show started, yet I still consider myself a diehard fan of the show ever since I first saw an episode, really by accident, since it came on on TV Land after Dragnet (another favorite show), and I was too lazy to get up and turn off the TV after Dragnet. Naturally, C.A. came on next, and the beginning intrigued me, so I watched. From then on, I knew I had a new favorite show, so of course I had to get this book when I saw it was available. I wasn't disappointed. The amount of trivia and "behind-the-scenes" info is incomparable, plus the episode guide is valuable when I'm deciding which episode to tape (TV Land switched time slots, I'm in school when it comes on -- arghhh!) The only complaint I have is that I read it too fast. Another volume maybe? Anyway, any fan -- even if you weren't alive when the show came on -- is REALLY missing out by not getting this book.
