Of course, there are some omissions (for example, my all-time favorite Seattle band, The Tone Dogs, is barely mentioned), but none of the losers east of the 520 Bridge or west of the OK Hotel would notice. If you get this book, you should definitely consider snagging Screaming Life, a collection of the best of Charles Peterson's black-and-white photographs of Nirvana, Screaming Trees, Hole, Soundgarden, and friends.
