Summary: As stupid as it gets!
Review: It is a tragedy that this is out of print. It's one of the funniest books I've ever read. Anyone with any knowledge of science whatsoever finds it hilarious, and I show it to anyone and everyone who I think can appreciate it. No-one's ever been disappointed. Three thumbs up!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The deeper you go, the funnier it is.
Review: One of the three funniest books I have ever read. I find something new in this book every time I read it, and I have owned it (and reread it over and over) for years. The periodic table alone is worth the price.

Summary: Every branch of Science is mutated into a hilarious form!
Review: The more you know about science, the more you can "get" from this book. From a periodic chart where the most basic elements turn out to be "lint" and "scum" to a brilliant "resolution" of the creationism/evolution dispute, Tom Weller sends up practically every branch of science and saves a little for the science academic hierarchy as well. Great for 12 year olds of all ages.

Summary: The more you know, the funnier this book is!!!
Review: This is without a doubt one of the best science-comedy books available. I have had 5 copies of this in my physics room for the last13 years. It is great to watch the kids begin to recognize more and more of the jokes as they begin to understand more and more science. Science Made Stupid is funniest for those whom science has made smart. It is a great trigger for the diversification of students' interests. They want to learn unfamiliar areas in order to understand the jokes. All in all one of the best teaching and entertaining books I have known.

Summary: Can't believe this title is out of print
Review: This was the funniest book I had ever read until I picked up "Dave Barry Slept Here." I still have a copy and re-read it every couple of years. Anyone who took high school science and anthropology classes, let alone college science majors, will be rendered helpless with laughter by this book, again and again and again. The human evolution section should be required material in every anthro class taught at every level.
