Summary: A handy guide for Law + Order fans
Review: I keep this by my bedside so that I can look up each episode as I watch Law + Order every night on A&E. There needs to be an updated version, but until then this one will do. The writers have done their research but TRUE Law + Order fans will want more. This is the series that gives only the skimpiest of details about the main characters lives, and the book doesn't really add to our knowledge, it just compiles all the relevant facts about the character into one bundle, usually comprising about a paragraph. There are some unanswered questions, like why was the little guitar solo at the end of the opening theme dropped after a few seasons? It also fails to mention that this is the series that set the all time record for using apartment doormen and parking garage attendants as important sources of information. You could make a drinking game: when a valet or garage attendant gets shaken down by Lenny--bottoms up!

Review: I watch Law & Order several times a week on A&E and NBC. Some of the episodes continue to entertain me even though I've seen them several times. I'm constantly going to this book, which I keep next to my TV chair, for information. I wish I had written it.

Review: I've been a Law & Order fan since the beginning, and the L & O Unofficial Companion Guide was just the book I've been looking for. Certainly the best TV show "companion", that I've ever seen. Not only do you get to "meet" your favourite characters, you get to meet the gifted, quirky and sometimes eccentric actors who played them. In addition to that, there's a great episode guide that gives you a plot run down, and interesting tidbits about the making of each individual episode. There is also an overview of each individual season, to explain the various cast and plot changes. This is a "MUST HAVE" for every Law & Order fan

Review: If you like the show, you'll like this book. If you love the show, you MUST own this book. It is that simple. For Logan fans, thanks to this book and A&E it is a wonderful walk down memory lane to the glory days of Detective Mike Logan.

Review: In the criminal justice system the people are represented by opposite but equal sides, the police who find the criminals and the district attorneys who prosecute them, these are their stories . . . This book is a look into that show Law and Order.What this book covers is everything related to the show, its story lines, characters and personalities. What this book missed - nothing. A great read and easy to follow. You get the behind the scenes look at who left the show and for what reasons. You'll find out what the actors and actresses did before law and Order and you'll be able to look into the lives of the actors as well. Covering all the seasons and the episodes, as well as the 1999 season, I was pleased with the outcome of this book. I was a big fan of the show before and an even bigger one now.

Review: Incredibly detailed biographies on all the characters that have have ever been on the show, and summaries of almost every single episode of the drama. It also includes addresses that you can use to contact the stars, and websites to get even more info! This book is stuffed with even more than that, too. You don't even have to like the show to like this book!!!! Highly recommended.
