Summary: Missed the mark for us
Review: I bought this book as something fun and interactive to do with my husband. I give it two stars because it is something to get you talking and discussing feelings and opinions even if you disagree with the book. That beats just sitting on the couch watching tv. Otherwise though we both felt this book wasn't very revealing and often missed the mark for us entirely. For example, in one question it asks you to describe how you would feel standing in the open door of a flying airplane getting ready to parachute for the first time. In the answer section it says your response indicates how you feel when you are about to have sex with someone for the first time. Okay, how many people wouldn't answer that question with words like nervous anticipation or exhilaration? Both of us did at any rate. Not very revealing. My friend said terrified because she is afraid of heights but she completely rejected the idea that she experiences terror at the prospect of sex. I would imagine alot of people might describe themselves as being fearful of parchuting out of an airplane but not necessarily be quaking with fear in bed.
There were also a lot of questions that seemed to be geared to tapping into your subconcious feelings but for us concrete life experience seemed to skew the results. For instance, in one scenerio you are suppose to be searching for gems and it asks you to describe the size and type of gem you searched for. The answer key says the gem you described is a symbol of your sense of self worth. My husband had described a small not very valuable type of mineral but only because the question brought back happy memories of looking for this on hikes with his father as a child. We both felt that this sort of thing came up rather often for us.

Summary: Very interesting and lots of fun.
Review: I recently purchased Kokology and was planning on using it at a small get together with friends but it was so interesting I ended up doing a third of the scenarios with my boyfriend. It was a lot of fun to discover what made each other tick.

I would highly recommend this book for anyone wanting to get to know someone better or just having a laugh over the outcomes of these mini personality tests.

This book would provide a lot of entertainment on long drives. It will keep the driver and passengers very entertained. But I wouldn't recommend this book to be read to children. Some of the test questions and scenarios seem very innocent but when you read the outcome they are adult in nature...

Summary: Great book just for fun.
Review: I've enjoyed this book ever since i bought it! a great book for fun when you are alone or with a group of people. The exciting questions and answers are sometimes contradictory, but it doesn't matter in the scheme of things. This book is great if you need something to do on a long car trip or as an ice-breaker for a group.

Summary: Fun-ish
Review: Kokology is as the book describes, a game of self-discovery. Through a series games and questions you will gain valuable insight into yourself and others. Play the game and answer the questions, turn the page and reveal what your answers say about you.

Kokology is a valuable tool on your own or with a group. It can be played for fun or use it to test it's accuracy on your personality. Beware, Kokology may offer insights that you never knew existed! The senarios are fun and interesting as you contemplate your answers and what you would do.

Need an ice breaker or tension lifter, try one these senarios. In work and personal situations, I have used many of these scenarios with success and subsequently great conversation! The spirit that this book was written was for fun and enlightment. Whether you regard the book as serious and accurate or mere entertainment...you will not be disappointed. If Kokology has you hooked, I would suggest also exploring 'The Cube' by Annie Gottlieb and Slobodan Pesic.

Summary: Worth checking out
Review: This book can be a lot of fun. While not every "solution" to each of the parables is dead on, I was surprised more than once at how accurate and insightful some of the situations were. I highly recomend no trying to figure out anything as you go. Keep a clear mind and you will be shocked at the results.

Summary: Fun, funny, but not always true..
Review: This book is cool, it's fun and entertaining, especaily when you're doing it with friends and can have a laugh, but not everything is so complex like they try to put it. Like, what you think will come out of a garbage can if you kick it over by accident.. oh well, it's still fun, just don't base your life on it.

Summary: Let the Games Begin
Review: This book was created by a Japanese psychologist and is supposed to be a study of the mind or spirit based on solid psychological principles. I am not sure how accurate the results are but I will vouch for an entertaining experience. This book contains 53 situations all with a choice of responses and a key to what your particular response means. The idea behind the games is to reveal hidden beliefs and attitudes about love, work, relationships and other important avenues in life. You might be surprised at what you hide inside!
