Summary: Memoirs of a Papillon
Review: I met Genevieve and Dennis one day by accident in Sarasota and I have since read "her memoirs". Absolutely delightful!

Summary: My Papillon, Nicki, must have read this book!
Review: I read this book before our dog, Nicki, adopted us. She could be Genevieve in disguise, because she has all the same traits and personality. The first time she hit me in the back of the leg in that spot that buckles your knee, I remember how Genevieve described that exact tactic to get her humans attention. It was eerie! A great read whether you are a dog owner or not.

Summary: This adorable book is a must read!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this humorously candid look at life from a dog's point of view. I chuckled throughout the whole book.

Not only does Genevieve, the Papillon, gives the reader tips on how a dog should help it's owner drive, she also asks the question of why cats even have to share a space with dogs. She touches on all the important things in a dog's life.

This book isn't just for dog owners or even Papillon owners. This book is a fun read for everybody. It is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Summary: A Real Standout
Review: Most books in my library that were written by papillons are too estoric for for most peoples tastes. Finally, thanks to Genevieve, we have a straight, no nonsense view of living life among the lower classes (humans). How refreshing to read a dog who cares not a twit for political correctness (cats beware), or the kind of scandal sheet fare churned out by so many of the current canine literary wordsmiths. Genevieve tells it like it is, and lets the dog biscuits fall where they may. A note to human readers: the book contains a test designed to measure dog/human compatability. This section of the book should be ripped out and destroyed before your dog has a chance to administer it.

Summary: Call me surprised
Review: My friend Karen Helms loaned me her copy of this delightful book, which she figured I'd cotton to because our family dog is a papillon. As a realist who views things anthropomorphic with suspicion, I doubted author Dennis Fried could make readers believe his papillon Genevieve wrote this book. "How silly," I thought. "He'll never pull it off."

I thought wrong. Fried did pull it off, with remarkable creativity and humor and a great deal of insight. He must have had a tremendous amount of help from the lovely Genevieve.

If you've ever wondered what your dog is thinking (and are sure you want to know), feisty little Genevieve will tell you in no uncertain terms.

So, take a break from the rat race. Let Genevieve teach you the fine art of "zooming." A few zooms around the living room will make you feel like a pup again. No bones about it.

Summary: The best book I've ever read!
Review: The best book written by a dog. It tells what the dog is thinking, also tells if your a good owner with Genevieve's test, plus alot more. I recomend this book to anyone who has a dog(especially papillon owners),or is a pap lover!

Summary: A MUST HAVE
Review: This book is a MUST HAVE for any dog owner who ever wondered whats really going on in those tiny little heads of theirs. Genevieve is quite a mischevious little girl who will have you in stitches from start to finish. Being born in the 'home for unwed mothers' and having to drink from the 'furry milk machine' had no adverse effects on this dog! She's a dog with lots of attitude, creativity and a great sense of humor. Every dog owner (or future owner) should have a copy of this book. Its a GREAT gift idea for your dog-loving friends who may be too embarassed to admit they really don't know what their dogs are thinking.

Summary: The exciting adventures and opinions of a little dog...
Review: This book is hilarious and laughing outloud funny. It is written from the standpoint of a Papillon, but even people with other dog breeds or no dogs at all will get a kick out of this book. It is very cleverly written with several pictures of Genevieve and her humans. It is a charming read and would make a great gift.

Summary: Best Book Ever Written by a Dog!
Review: This book is hilarious. I bought it for a plane ride and, let me tell you, I've never had a flight go by so fast. I laughed the entire way. It's the perfect book for any dog lover - especially those familiar with the peculiarities unique to small breeds. Thank you Genevieve!
