After I read Jerry D. Coleman's "Strange Highways" where he told of witnesses, story's and events with an Ouija Board, I wanted to seek out further information as to what made "The Board" tic, Author Mr. Stoker Hunt supplied it.
Weird is the fact that one of Mr. Colemans Ouija story's is called "Hunt Street", coincidence ?

Summary: Reckless look at the Ouija Board!
Review: Although there is some interesting and useful information concerning the history of the Ouija Board and what can happen by using one, it is rather reckless because it also instructs people in the use of this dangerous device.
I have had a very real and bad experience after using a ouija board and they are not games. They are occult devices and no one should fool with them for there could be serious consequences. It is rather reckless for Stoker to instruct people in its operation.
I advise against this book and against the use of any ouija board ever.
A better book on this subject is Edmund C. Gruss's The Ouija Board: A Doorway to the Occult.

Summary: Very intriguing book!
Review: I could not put this book down. I read through the entire book in one sitting. It's amazing how the book takes on 3 major points of views - the positive/believer aspect, negative/non-believer aspect, and scientific aspect. The stories were very interesting and a lot of the information the book provided really made me wonder about the dangers of the game. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who is even mildly intersted in the Ouija board!

Summary: Good Sense.
Review: I had started a collection of Ouija Boards because I thought it would be a unique and fun hobby. After reading this book, I quickly changed my mind and left what I had purchased unopened! I had fun reading this book, it scared me at times and made me think even more about the unknown. Although it gives you good advice if are are to use the Ouija I used my own "good sense" and chose not to. This is a GREAT BOOK for anyone interested in knowing more about the "Mystifying Oracle".
