The Eagles Anthology (Easy Guitar)

Summary: Good book to get for a large colection of Eagles Songs
Review: I've only been playing guitar for a short time (three years). I love the Eagles but haven't found alot of their music that was printed as it was played on the albums. This is the best I have seen. The short comings would be that it isn't in tab for beginners. It does have the chords noted above the staff. Definately not a book for early beginners. I would recommend it to anyone who has been playing for a little while and loves the Eagles music as I do. This book has ALL the classic Eagle songs....GET IT NOW! Summary: Very good book with a few shortcomings
Review: If you know what a chords are, this book is "EZ." I know my basic chords and found this book to be good. I wish they would put all words under the music instead of putting extra verses to the side -- "Takin It Easy" is an example of what I found frustrating. Overall, I found it easy to play and (IMHO) I sound good playing these songs.

Summary: SAVE YOUR MONEY....
Review: My advice to any beginning guitar player would be to aviod any book labeled as EASY. Most beginning players dont take the time to learn how to sight read, most only read tablature. The EASY guitar books are not tablature they are simply the melody line. Spend the extra money and buy the guitar recorded version of this or any other guitar book you have in mind.
