Summary: First-rate sourcebook for rock/blues guitarists
Review: I've always been a fan of Kenn Chipkin ever since I used his Real Blues Guitar book, so it came as no surprise that this offering is just as good. What's particularly appealing is that not only does he include the styles of standard greats like Hendrix, Clapton and Page, there's also a fair amount devoted to lesser-known rockers like Robin Trower and Joe Walsh. The only problem is that probably because the recording speed was marginally slow, the guitar parts on the accompanying CD sound slightly flatter than standard concert pitch. Still, you should have no problem playing along. As the title suggests, this is as real as it gets.
