Summary: Great read for Nirvana fans!
Review: I recently read this book from beginning to end and in my opinion, it is a great read for anyone who has come to appreciate the extreme talent of Kurt Cobain and others of Nirvana. It offers excellent insight into the life of Kurt, starting young and continues on to the aftermath of his tragic death. It even offers a section of photographs of his Washington home and the tribute to him after his death. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to learn more about the icon known as Kurt Cobain.

Summary: Kurt Cobain was Murdered
Review: Isnt it amazing, that in this day and age, there are still organizations like the Seattle Police Department, that believe just because someone is an addict, that it doesnt really matter how they died?

Kurt was a beautiful and caring artist--even if he was an addict. The people responsible for his MURDER need to be brought to justice.

Any book which doesnt relay the horrible inconsistencies surrounding the so-called police investigation of Kurt's death, is either very shoddy; or in league with the murderers.

Read the site cobaincase.com, if you want to know the details.

And this reviewer has NEVER found conspiracy theories seductive in and of themselves.

Summary: get this book
Review: Never Fade Away gives a lot of interesting informaton on the life of Kurt Cobain. The first half of the book really focuses on Kurt's early life, even before he joined a band and began making albums. It is interesting to discover what Cobain did as a child (such as becoming a really good wrestler) and to find out how the divorce of his parents effected his life so much. This book also shares the second half of Kurt's life with the readers, and the struggles he had to overcome to become a successful rock star. We learn of Nirvana's problems with choosing a good label, and get to read about interesting stories, such as the time Nirvana almost refused to play at the MTV Video Awards unless they could play "Rape Me". Although it was a little short, I suggest that any fan of Nirvana should read this book.

Summary: well,...
Review: The story behind Kurt Cobain is extremely interesting, and I for one kept wanting to know more as I read. I would not say that the book is very well-written, though. I would definitely recommend something about Cobain for someone looking for an interesting biography, but not necesarily this particular book.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It is a fair book
Review: This book displays only the main points of the history of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. I feel that it was a good book to read, if you have the time, but "Cobain" or "Come As You Are" would be wiser choices.
