Summary: If we were all badasses this world would be boring...
Review: A bad ass does what he wants when he wants...but make sure he does not wear shorts..wears wife beater shirts...drives a hog...owns a muscle car...and has a dead end job? Please...the Oxymoron is it takes all sorts to make this world go round and this book tells you what to do to be a bad ass...guess what got my own rules and I keep it simple...if you are a sterotypical bad ass you will LOVE this book if you want to enjoy some of the finer things in life other that cheap beer and bars this book should be taken for entertainment purposes only and not a guide to life...even a bad ass should know there is more to life then this book...but enjoy...it not all bad...

Summary: At long last
Review: At long last there is a clever, tongue-in-cheek book that is unique for this time. When everything is geared towards metrosexuals, it's great to read a down-to-earth version of how real men can be. This is the man whom we rely on to keep the world moving and working properly.

Summary: Come On
Review: I bought this book because it caught my eyes. I am a woman and I didn't find this book offending at all and I believe that it was made as a joke. There may be some things that are sort of provocative, and some things that may offend other woman. This book was really funny, it is great being able to compare what the author wrote to the personality of friends and family. This book was a 4 star book because it kept me turning the pages. You can read this book any time, the short passages and examples are really interesting. I don't think that the author ment for the book to be used for actuall use, but even if he did the book is still great.

Summary: An engaging, humorous, tongue-in-cheek field guide
Review: The Bad Ass Bible: An Essential Guide For Men by S. K. Smith is a reader attention engaging, humorous, tongue-in-cheek field guide to what truly constitutes "Bad Ass" masculinity in contemporary American culture. Ranging from types of pets (cats are not the pet of a Bad Ass unless he is a James Bond movie villain); to the "gigs" of a Bad Ass (bounty hunter, repo man, etc.); to Bad Ass meat recipes (Spam a la Hindenburg), and so much more, The Bad Ass Bible should not be taken too seriously at the risk of one's health and welfare, but it does offer receptive readings an intriguing perspective on just what constitutes a popularly perceived macho way of life.
