Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: I don't even play guitar but I thoroughly enjoyed this informative and entertaining book. Primary quibble: where's Eddie Hazel?
Rating: Summary: Good Information Review: Legends is a fine reference that is packed with information about guitarists from every area of rock. The book will be especially helpful to those looking for information on the major guitar players and also for those looking to find unknown guitarists that are worth a listen.

Rating: Summary: This book is a must read for all guitar players. Review: This book to a guitar player is essential to an understanding of just where all that virtuosity came from to begin with. In the cases where I've studied a guitarists career extensively, there was still new information, and in cases where my knowledge was sketchy, I was gratified to be able to learn, and learn, and keep on learning. The two authors have presented us with a document that will be invaluable to players and fans alike, and if there's any way to thank them personally, I'd welcome it. One litmus test that I can point to in the book, is that they've not forgotten the contributions of those players who are no longer selling records, and in some cases never sold a pile to begin with. The whole thing shows conscientious research and I compliment the graphic layout as well. Great job!
Rating: Summary: the definitive encyclopedia of Rock Guitarists Review: This is the most comprehensive and insightful book on the history of rock guitarists I have ever come across. Extensive information about each player's music collaborations and individual guitar techniques will enlighten even the most ardent guitar fans. Every true guitar fanatic should have this book by their bedside.
Rating: Summary: The Ultimate Rock Guitar History Review: With LEGENDS OF ROCK GUITAR, we strove to include not just the major guitarists that shaped rock 'n' roll, but also all the lesser-known masters. There are over 300 players covered in the book, along with extensive discographies and many photos. There's never been a book of this scope on rock guitar ever published before
