Summary: A five-star book!
Review: What sets this book apart from the pack (and there have been some excellent books on chess strategy recently, such as Marovic's Secrets of Positional Chess and Aagaard's Excelling at Positional Chess) is that the annotations are very deep and detailed, often with several large pages devoted to a single game or position. Contains 10 complete games and dozens of positions. Focuses on defensive techniques and strategies within the context of positional play. Along with Marovic's new book on Positional Chess, and the Tal-Botvinnik 1960 match game book written by Tal himself, Marin's new book is at the top of my "must read" list.
