Rating: Summary: sexy little cutie pie Review: this book is pure, indulgent fun, like you shouldn't be reading it but you can't help yourself. it's like candy but without calories and all that sugar that's bad for your teeth.this would be the cutest gift for your girlfriends (but i recommend buying one for yourself as well because you'll want to keep it) my only concern is that the publisher, quirk books, has yet to publish the other "date with destiny adventures" they promise are to come, and now i fear i will be denied them. PLEASE don't keep them away from me!!
Rating: Summary: Funny flashback Review: This book is really cute Choose Your Own Adventure style -- just read "Tangle in Tijuana" which is another Gen X Sex and the City style CYOA and it was hysterical. This book is a little tame compared to Tangle, so if you are a wild child, you should check that one out too!!
Rating: Summary: Hysterically Creative Review: This is a book is a must for fun chuckles paired with lusty excitement. The stories are so entertaining that "A Night of a Thousand Boyfriends" is hard to put down. An absolute necessity...

Rating: Summary: A hilarious parody Review: This is just like the old Choose Your Own adventure books they used to make--right down to the cheesy illustrations, flimsy paper, and pocket-sized format. The story is updated for adults (think SEX AND THE CITY) but the author also has a lot of fun parodying the old Choose Your Own conventions; there's even a trap that will catch sneaky readers who try to cheat. Throw in cameo appearances by John Cusack and Brad Pitt and you've got a hilarious nostalgia trip. The front of the book advertises future titles but I'm guessing these must be a joke--if not, we can actually look forward to such future volumes as MY WHITE HOUSE INTERNSHIP and JOURNEY TO THE BOTTOM OF BEN AFFLECK. I can't wait!
Rating: Summary: Pure fun! Review: While not being anything close to a literary accomplishment, Miranda Clarke's "Date With Destiny Adventure" book is one of the most fun I've read! Styled like those Choose Your Own Adventure books you've probably read as a child (although not affiliated with them in any way), Night of a Thousand Boyfriends will provide readers with the chance to decide what they want to do. To date or not to date...that is the question! The book starts off with you as the main character and your best friend, Marcy, planning a lonely Friday night together. The guy you met a few days before at the bookstore hasn't called you like he said he would (typical!), so you've readied yourself for another boring evening. But then the phone rings -- and the adventure begins! I read this book in one sitting. It really was a lot of fun choosing what would happen next, and I ended up with 24 different endings that left me boggled as to how I got there. I would definitely read another one of these books simply because they are so fun, the writing is so simple it's practically elementary, and I can't think of a better way to pass a couple of hours -- well, reading-wise anyway!
