Rating: Summary: A MUST FOR ALL MANSON FANATICS, WITH RESERVATIONS Review: A GOOD FILL IN THE GAPS BOOK IF YOU HAVE ALREADY READ "LONG ROAD OUT OF HELL". GIVES SOME INSIGHT INTO DAISY BERKOWITZ'S POINT OF VIEW. BUT SEEMS IN PARTS TO GIVE MISINFORMATION, ESPECIALLY REGARDING INCIDENT INVOLVING MANSON-MIKESTAND-GINGER ACCIDENT, PLUS OTHER INCIDENTS. AN INTERESTING HISTORY OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE FAN CLUB IS HERE TOO. OVERALL, A WORTHWHILE, EASY READ.

Rating: Summary: Great book on Marilyn Manson's life! Review: A wonderful book on one of the world's biggest rock stars- from childhood to stardom. If you're a Manson fan, you MUST read this book!
Rating: Summary: just as great as mansons Review: i thought, since i was getting the autobiography, that there was no way i needed to have 2 manson books. but i saw a review that said, 'a great gap-filler!' and even though marilyns book was very satisfying, i decided i would take a chance. this book is really great, it has a lot of mansons very own quotes, and even though berkowitz is somewhat harsh, it is understandable he feels that way. it was very well written and includes trivial, yet wonderful little goods like the fact that brian warner favors calvin klein boxer briefs & the 9 satanic statements. a few nice photos and interviews. this is mostly about marilyn manson the band, not just mm the persona, or mm the person for that matter.
Rating: Summary: Chickens and Pickles Review: If you want another side to the Manson story, read it. This book follows the same timeline as the autobiography, but from other people's points of view, as well as through many direct Manson quotes. But BEWARE: this book was obviously written after Daisy Berkowitz left the band and it seems much of the info was provided by him. But no matter, the book attempts to explain some things that most people (even Manson fans) overlook, and is definitely worthwhile for anyone who uses his/her brain.
Rating: Summary: well... Review: if you're like me and read this after reading the long hard road out of hell, then you will yearn to read the actual autobiography again to purify yourself. It just pails in comparison to it. although it does have some very interesting information, the overall presentation just feels empty. I would have liked it much more if I have never read the long hard road out of hell which is why i am giving it 3 stars.
Rating: Summary: This book is alright but Long Hard Road is better. Review: Marilyn Manson fans should buy this book as well as the other book but my opinion is that this book tells more about the band and thats good but Long Hard Road tells more about him.
Rating: Summary: An instant classic! The feel bad hit of the season! Review: Not since Bugliosi's "Helter Skelter" and Ed Sanders' "The Family" has there been such a brilliant study of Manson. Why read the best-selling authorized autobiography - everybody lies in those, even if they are pretty entertaining lies. Instead, treat yourself to Reighley's revealing, insightful, glamorous and downright campy exposition of the Artist Formerly Known as Brian Warner. One waits with bated breath for Reighley's upcoming Puff Daddy monograph. Considering the publisher is generally known for quicky throwaway books (see Michael Krugman's poorly written "Oasis" and Martin Huxley's Trent-phobic "Nine Inch Nails") this is the year's most unexpected surprise. Delightful. Two snaps!
Rating: Summary: the truest manson fan ever!!! Review: The best book I have ever read in my life. I don't understand how a person could go through all that and still go on with his life... I always tell people that diss manson to at least read his book once. and than tell me what they think... I love this man and his book!!!!The long hard road out of hell. -Sher
