Rating: Summary: wonderfull cookbook-biography! Review: A great book that you will not only enjoy cooking from but just reading. Naomi Judd opens her heart and photo album to make this much more than a cookbook. Five stars for Naomi Judd!
Rating: Summary: LOVE CAN MAKE YOU PUT ON A WHOLE LOTTA WEIGHT Review: A great photo-filled cookbook...few original recipes, but some tasty bits of Naomi's Southern Wisdom. I'm guessing that if there weren't so many photos of Wynonna Judd in the book, the publishers might have taken a "pass" on it. Maybe this is the precursor to "LOVE CAN BUILD A BRIDGE PART II; AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE".
Rating: Summary: Cookin' Judd Style Review: Actually a very delightful recipe book, with lots of cute Southern tidbits of wisdom and the such. The photos are spectacular, especially of Wynonna. That's the only reason why I bought the book. Too bad it is out of print, a lot of people will miss out.

Rating: Summary: Much more than just a cookbook! Review: Don't buy this book if all you are looking for is a cookbook -- it's much, much more. In fact, you'll probably love this book even if all you ever make for dinner is reservations! It's a glimpse inside the country music industry, a chronicle of the lives of three fascinating women and most of all a celebration of family love -- no matter what shape or size that family may come in.
I read it in one late night sitting and at the end felt compelled to go hug my sleeping children. I wish I could have hugged the young Naomi; mother of two, husbandless, jobless, but plenty gutsy.
The book is attractively bound, with dozens of glorious full color photographs, and makes a lovely gift. I gave a copy to my mother, not much of a county music fan, and she enjoyed it as much as I did.
Rating: Summary: What a great, down home look at a triangle of super stars!!! Review: I bought this book when I was on vacation, and read it in every spare moment. I thought the recipes were simple, and presented beautifully. I look forward to using this cook book as one of my regulars. I am now half way through "Love Can Build A Bridge," after going to the book store the day after getting home from vacation. What a gutsy, talented woman. I look forward to more from Naomi, Wynnona, and Ashley!
Rating: Summary: One of my better cookbooks--- Review: I have made about 1/3 to 1/2 of the recipes with much success. The BBQ chicken is fabulous! A few disappointments (such as Tammy Wynette's Pork Chops) but overall good, simple, country food. The recipes are easy to follow. The many pictures are great---about 2/3's of the recipes have pictures, and, of course, you will see pictures of Naomi and her family in various times of their lives with interesting stories. I highly recommend this if you are a country music fan and a "country" cook---this would not be for you if you are looking for the Julia Child style of cooking.
Rating: Summary: Down home great food!!!! Review: I love this book! Down home country food. The recipes are easy to make, but full of flavor. These are recipes that your grandma would make, and hopefully will inspire you to bring your family back to the kitchen table.
Rating: Summary: LOVED IT! Review: I read the book, cooked the recipes and loved it. Looking forward to another book from Naomi, hopefully soon!!!!!
