Rating: Summary: Excellent ways to play the slots Review: I used this book to select and play slot machines. The detailed listing of many machines covers much of what you'll find at least in LV in banking-style machines and how to play them successfully. In my short playing time, I did come out ahead.
Unfortunately, this book is out-of-print, but it can still be found. Of course, I'm looking forward to a revised edition.
For more slot info, see The Slot Machine Answer Book by John Grochowski which covers a wider range of machines in less detail. It is written as questions and answers, which will either intrigue or annoy you.
Or read the classic, Break the One-Armed Bandits! by Frank Scoblete. It's a chatty discussion of slot machine history, insider secrets and stories. There is a tell-all interview with "Mr. Handle," the anonymous slot machine manager of a major Las Vegas casino. Overall, the book's main value lies in its sensible methods for finding loose slots. (On a one-day trip -- I know not that's statistically significant -- the book was right on the money.)
Rating: Summary: Not Much New Info Review: I was disappointed that there was little new information from his last book. Most of the additional machines he listed were clearly not played much by him and he did not include information that I felt was reliable. Using the methods in his last book, I had some good luck, but some of his advice on certain machines clearly did not work and he did not make adjustments based on what the casinos have done. Unfortunately, the opportunity to profit from banking machines has nearly gone away and perhaps these books are part of the reason.
Rating: Summary: Great Book For Banking Slots! Review: Packed with great information on "banking" slots. If these are the type of slots you play this book is excellent. Packed full of detailed information about each slot and playing strategy. Helps you make the most of your money and win! Helped me win recently in Atlantic City!
