Summary: The best to date!
Review: Having read all the available literature on Slipknot I can wholeheartedly recommend this title as being in a class of its own. It is cleverly written, very informative and most importantly a ...good read! It is clear that of all the biographers this author is the only one who actually knows the band and so can provide genuine insight into their lives, music and history. Do not be misled by the 'pretty' pictures in the other titles available (as I was!) this book is the only one that credits us readers as having anything more than the intelligence of a wilting cabbage leaf!

Summary: A good read
Review: This book is more than just Slipknot propoganda. While it often calls Slipknot the best band on the planet and other nonsense, the author is quite knowledgable about the band, its members, and most importantly, music in general. As a result, there is quite a nice history of heavy metal, punk, etc interspersed throughout this book. While I would still only recommend this to Slipknot fans, one can rest assured that this book was not written with the lowest common denominator in mind.

Summary: It's pretty good but...
Review: This book is on one of the most hardcore rock bands of this time and tells their storys, mostly of joey's (the drummer). Tells how some of them grew up and found each other to become the knot. Joey is an asome drummer most people dont think he is becuase there are so many other noises goin on that they can hear his work(mostly because of all the other banging being done by the other drumms). I like the beginning of the book but toward the end I lost intrest, it wasnt that exciting any more but the beginning was pretty good. p.s. needs more pictures and a group shot with their names.
