Review: I purchased this book in Singapore, a tiny city-state with a society that is more western compared to equally prosperous neighbors to the north. The book takes a humorous look at a group of ethnic Chinese Singaporean women who stake out joints catering to white expatriate men. The book illustrates one of the bad side effects that a once traditional nation going through dramatic westernization in a short period had to suffer.
