Summary: Beautiful and amazing
Review: This deck has wonderful and detailed illustrations. As it is meant for meditation as well as tarot, every card is filled with symbolic pictures that trigger key images. Without the book, I can read these cards fairly easily, as the images are detailed enough to show the precise meanings.

These cards may not be for everyone, however. If you don't love fantasy or dragons and prefer a more realistic card, this is not the deck for you. But if you are a dreamer and a fantasy lover, you will connect with this amazing deck.

Summary: a must for dragon lovers
Review: This deck has wonderful artwork, vibrant and full of detail. If one is a dragon lover, then buying this deck is a logical choice. However, if one is merely looking for a deck, I would recommend this one also. The booklet explains meanings well and offers a springboard for the reader to form their own interpretations. My complaint is that many of the minor arcana cards are not very original and appear to be taken directly from the Rider-Waite deck without many modifications. A good buy nonetheless.

Summary: I Love the Dragon Tarot!
Review: This deck is full of color and the dragons are exquisite! Most of the cards have helpful symbols that are understood if time is taken to associate each card and its meanings. Often I remember a card by one symbol and its keyword. This may be acredited in part by the book(mentioned below)that i bought when i became interested in tarot, as it is based on a keyword system and was very helpful.
Although this deck works well for me and gives extremely accurate readings for me, beginners may have trouble with it.
I first bought "How To: Read the Tarot"(pub. by Llewellyn)to see if i was interested in the subject. Then, i went to a bookstore to find my deck options and try to connect with a deck. I immediately connected with this deck. If you are considering buying this deck, get a secondary source for readings as the small pamphlet in this deck might not be as detailed as might be desired by a beginner. Or if you are considering buying a deck from the internet, I recommend that you first visit a bookstore to preview options; if you connect with a deck, then you could go on the net to get the best price.
Getting back on subject, this deck is very wonderful and is best if used by an experienced person, but may be suitable for a beginner. I just love this deck and i hope anyone that buys it does too.
Good luck!

Summary: My 1st & only Tarot Deck.
Review: This deck was given to me by a friend a year ago. It was a great gift, considering that I wasn't very rich(neither was she). But I do suggest getting this deck, none-the-less. Over time I could memorize the meanings, because the book didn't include reversed meanings. So if you have a thing for reptiles and memorization, buy this deck for you or a friend filled with curiousity.

Summary: Not for beginners
Review: This is a beautiful tarot deck but not for beginners. They are not as existential as most other tarot decks. The writing is also difficult to read and the definitions provided in the little book are much simpler but too broad. You really have to be a good B.S.er to use these.

Summary: Wonderful
Review: This is a wonderful deck. It is easy to become familiar with and even addicted to. The pictures help to describe the meaning of each card with such detail, it is hard to forget. The images are full of information. Each holding a meaning in the drawing, yet allowing for personal interpretation and flexablility for a variety messages.

Summary: Easy to understand
Review: This tarot deck is excellent for the beginner. Sometimes decks can be over stimulating to someone just starting out. Are you looking for a deck that is easy to understand? Choose Dragon Tarot.

Summary: Great Deck
Review: This was my first deck, and I love it! The illustrations are great and easy to understand. The Celtic cross spread it uses in the instruction booklet is too advanced for beginners, or was for me. The deck is wonderful. It's small and easy to handle, great for readings! I use it every reading!

Summary: My First Deck: Great for Begginers and Beyond
Review: This was my first deck. I was drawn to the beauty and coloration of the cards that you just don't find in most other decks. I like the drawn style instead of the decks of collaged photos and computer graphics. I connected to this deck very quickly and have had amazing results with this deck over the years. After getting this deck, no other deck has been the same. The deck is a good size, easy to handle, descriptions are short enough and concise, and the art is amazing.

I have heard so many things about this deck being hard for a beginner. Yeah right. What these people don't seem to understand is that each deck is different; some people will naturally connect with this deck and others might be better suited for another. It depends on you. The symbolisms are actually very close to the traditional cards and the names of the cards are still the same. You're only looking at beautiful dragons in a fantasy setting rather than humans.

For the advanced tarot reader, this deck is a beautiful addition to anyone's collection.

Beginners, I recommend that you worry more about learning your deck. That is the key. If you're looking for a good book, I highly recommend "Tarot for Yourself" by Mary K. Greer. This workbook contains everything for the beginner and advanced practitioner.
