Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Zeus Master of Olympus
Review: There is some good information avaliable in the book but the level of detail avaliable for free from fan sites is higher. One thing in particular was a let down. In describing how to design a successful city the author does not appear to have played the game. All the things suggested are exactly the opposite of what veterins of this and previous games in the series have discovered in practicle aplication from hours of game play.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: How but not why
Review: Zeus ! has a fine manual and an excellent tutorial system. Any strategy guide can only be a quick access alternative ti the web.

Mr. McCubbin's book is short on the programming behind the game but long on gamer's tips. He's found ways around the chestnuts grown around older games in the series. He offers ways to make quick work of light scenarios while offering good strategies for meatier ones.

I found his "strip" construction a very sensible approach given Zeus' nrw approach to the detrimmental effect of industry and distribution.
