Summary: im 19.....just dont wanna make an account
Review: I dont know what is the matter with the person who gave the book a bad review or what they are talking about. I would think it is an honor to have a book published about AFI by a real publisher. THIS BOOK ROCKS. It is full of tons of cool information and GREAT photographs. And the writing is really good I liked reading it not just for the info. Any fan should read it.

Summary: Nifty book
Review: I like this book, the photos are quite good. The writing is ok too. AFI is my favorite band ever, this is a great book for anyone who is a new fan of the band. I am a hardcore AFI fan, so of course anything to do with the band is pretty cool. What are you waiting for? Buy the book! Viva la Davey, Hunter, Adam, and Jade! AFI for ever!

Summary: How dare these people scar the good name of AFI
Review: One day, as I was looking at the threads on the AFI messageboard, I noticed that someone had posted about an "AFI book." Curious as to what I might find, I read the thread, and discovered that a book all about AFI, my favorite band, was to be published within the coming months. I was so excited, so I went to amazon.com immediately to find out when I would be able to purchase this promising piece of literature. I knew that near the end of August I would be receiving a gift certificate for this very website from my godfather, with which I could buy the book.

The moment that the package from Amazon arrived at my door, I excitedly ripped it open and enveloped myself in the Story of AFI. I finished quickly, on account of the fact that, at 86 pages, none of which has any information that couldn't be gotten ahold of from the various online biographies of AFI, it is hardly a heavyweight book.

After I had bought and read it, I was excited to be able to discuss it with as many people as possible, but one day, when I was scanning AFI's official website for updates about the band, I was shocked to discover that the publication of the book had not been a decision made by the band, and that all the information and images in the book were completely unauthorized.

I was horrified that anyone would do something like this, but as I had already lost the receipt, I could hardly return the book, and so it sits on my shelf, a reminder of the horrible things that publishing houses will do for money, and reminder to me to check the validity of my sources before purchasing things with money that could have been used to buy a new CD.
