Review: This book is essential to any serious pianist's library. All of Godowsky's Chopin arrangements (including the famous studies on the Chopin études by which Godowsky is best known) are contained in this edition. The notes by Dr. Millan Sachania are greatly informative and offer good insight into the history of these compositions as well as a peek into the life of Leopold Godowsky. This book is also a perfect complement to the Marc-André Hamelin and Carlo Grante recordings of the complete studies.
