Rating: Summary: Enthousiasm and knowledge Review: In this book one recognises the enthousiasm of an experienced teacher and recorderlover. With a profound knowledge of the instrument and its repertoire Rowland-Jones shows us what is possible with a recorder as an expressive instrument. His comments about tongueing are a little bit mysterious and at odds with what other experts (for example Walter van Hauwe) have written about the subject. Otherwise a fantastic book, which should be read by every serious recorderplayer, amateur and professional.
