Review: Back in 1994 I bought a hilarious book by best selling author KAREN SALMANSOHN called HOW TO MAKE YOUR MAN BEHAVE IN 21 DAYS OR LESS USING THE SECRETS OF PROFRESSIONAL DOG TRAINERS... which I LOVED so much I gave it to about 5 girflriends who all loved it too! I was always a hit at parties whenever I gave ms. Salmansohn's book. When I saw thi sbook I was amazed. It sounds exactly like Ms. Salmansohn's book...only not as funny..... I suggest all of you chekc out the original book that Ms. Salmansohn wrote ...and that this writer obviously ripped off and buy that Ms Salmansohn's book instead. The drawing's in HOW TO MAKE YOUR MAN BEHAVE IN 21 DAYS OR LESS USING THE SECRETS OF PROFRESSIONAL DOG TRAINERS are super funny and its a guaranteed good time. Its a classic...so good this author felt the need to imitate it I guess.

Review: Both girls and their dogs will love to read this hilarious book. As my friends and I have found, the comparison is apropos and the breed descriptions are dead-on. This book is not just for chicks. Whether you're a "Man Owner" or a mutt, you'll get a big kick out of this book. (I have especially benefited from learning some of the "Sweet Man Tricks" like bringing in the groceries and holding open doors... The oral behavior reinforcement is definitely worth rolling over on command, once in a while!)
Everyone on my gift list is getting one of these books in his/her stocking this holiday season.

Summary: One fun book!
Review: I have a copy of Ms. Hewit's book and it's very fun. What I like best about the book is leaving it out. No matter what other books or magazines are on the table, it's the one book guests always go for and gets people laughing. The `Make Your Man Behave in 21 Days' book sounds like fun as well but seems to be more of a training book while the `Men are Dogs in the Best Sense' book is more of a guide to understanding which `breed' of man best suits you. I highly recommend this book.

Review: I'm not the normally the type of person to recommend a "gift" book, but I saw Molly Hewitt's _Men Are Dogs: In the Best Possible Sense!_ on display at a store in LA and just had to buy it for my single, pug-loving friend for the holidays. No surprise: she loved it and we've all had a lot of fun going through the book's many hilarious breeds of men. I can't wait for Hewitt to turn the tables and write one about women!

The writing is delighful and the book is quite informative - you'll probably learn quite a bit about the nobility of both beasts. The tone is overwhelmingly positive and this is a great 'field guide' will help anyone feel good about the various 'breeds' out there - whether they are looking for a mate or wishing to identify the one they have (or are!) Any dog lover (male or female) would appreciate this book, as it deeply respects this lovable, loyal animal while highlighting the distinctive qualities that each type embodies.

Gorgeous and colorful, loaded with great photos and is fully glossy - this is not a self-help book. Like the material inside, it's designed for lighthearted FUN. It's the PERFECT BOOK for anyone who wishes to appreciate the finer attributes of the male species!

Review: My boyfriend and I happened to be in this great little bookstore when the author was doing a book signing, and she read some of the book outloud and even called us up for a demonstration -- we got such a kick out of it, we bought a copy for us, and a couple extras for Christmas gifts. That night, we got under the covers and read the book - and had some great laughs! The book is filled with clever insights and quips .... very cute. You'll definitely get a kick out of it, whether you read it as a couple or by yourself.

Review: My house is stuffed with big fat coffee books, but this little zinger is the one that gets people talking. Everybody wants to know what breed they are. This book is written tongue in cheek but it's amazing (and kind of alarming) how intense people get trying to figure out their breeds and the breeds of their bosses, boyfriends, girlfriends, etc. The eye-witness style illustrations are hilarious and the little descriptions are dead on. Great as a book -- even more fun as a toy. Highly recommend.

Review: This is such a cute and funny book and it really sucks you in. I bought a copy and brought it to a dinner at my parents' house. By the end of the night we determined that my boyfriend is a border terrier, my brother-in-law is a collie, my brother is a bull dog, and my father is a cocker spaniel. Two family friends in attendance turned out to be a dalmatian and a newfoundland. The breed descriptions are hilarious and right on target.

This is a great party book! It would be really fun for a bridal shower or bachelorette party.

I just found out that this book here ripped off one of my favorite books I got as a gift...a hilarious little gem of a book by KAREN SALMANSOHN called HOW TO MAKE YOUR MAN BEHAVE IN 21 DAYS OR LESS USING THE SECRETS OF PROFRESSIONAL DOG TRAINERS... which has been around for a while and is kind of famous even. The author's been on CNN talking about it and all kinds of Tv shows...and when I picked it up and saw the super funny illustrations I bought 3 immiedately. One for me, two for friends. I think this author here is not very nice to rip off Salmansohn's best selling HOW TO MAKE YOUR MAN BEHAVE IN 21 DAYS OR LESS USING THE SECRETS OF PROFRESSIONAL DOG TRAINERS...and you should buy the original book instead!!
