Summary: A great history of the Grateful Dead in print
Review: I highly recommend this this book for anyone who is into the Grateful Dead. It attempts to catalog/catagorize in 400 pages everything that has ever been written about the Dead. In doing so it also becomes a record of the history of the band through the years. It covers nearly 3000 entries all annotated with helpful information. It is a great tool for anyone that has and extensive collection of Dead related books/magazines/articles. It was very helpful in allowing me to catalog my collection. Although it is a bit expensive it was well worth it!
