Review: Music in written form for everyone to see-YES!! No one can make snide comments about Michael Bolton, his hair, etc. He is a songwriter as well as a singer so we'll let you judge for yourself what it's worth. But if we can put some bugs in some ears (and staff lines in some eyes), pay close attention to Safe Place From The Storm, Why Me (co-written with the great Lamont Dozier of H-D-H fame), Let There Be Love, and--of course--Go The Distance (Menken may cop an attitude, but he is a genius). Too bad, and this goes for all sheet music, that the list of instruments used as mentioned in the album credits aren't listed as suggested accompaniment (like the rainstorm opening for Safe Place...). But hey...can't be too picky when it's good.
