Summary: Jan Timman's endgame book
Review: This 1983 effort collects dozens of endgame studies, many composed by Timman himself, along with honest detailed analysis of a number of his games played against Karpov and Korchnoi between 1978-1982. I have found this book and Timman's Selected Games to be better than most of the chess books that have been published in the past decade.

Review: This book completes Timman's trilogy, starting with the Art of Chess Analysis and Timman's Selected Games. Originally published in Dutch in 1983, it was translated into English by Cadagon publishers in 1996. This book contains about a dozen deeply analyzed games by Timman, and a number of endgame studies.
