Summary: Phenomenal Songbook!
Review: I have to confess that I am a gigantic Peter Cincotti fan, so I got this book as soon as I found out about its existence. Let me tell you, friends, it is awesome for the pianist who is not very talented at improvising. I listen to his CDs, and I try to make those runs, but this book really points you in the right direction as far as what he's actually doing on his debut album. All of the songs are personalized -- i.e., they reflect Peter Cincotti's recording and are not just reprinted standards (unlike Diana Krall's songbook for Live in Paris). Anyway, check this out if you like his music and like to play the piano. It is fantastic.
